Wahhhhh...at lasttt...we are at final part of my trip to London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and back to Leeds in UK..such a loooooonnngg trip to be documented in here..ok, if u refer to the latest part of this journey (it was supposed to be Part 9, which i forgot to mention at the title)..my journey through euro countries end back at Leeds, which is where my sister n her family stays for almost 4 years now (eh, ke lebih?)....
The whole trip is actually from 7th to 21st of May...14 days altogether including my journey through an flow from London to KL...somehow from 15th to 20th (which 21st is my journey day back home) we were basically stay in my sis's house in Leeds...
The main activity is shopping of course..that is why i didnt buy much during the euro trip coz i knew that most of my money will be spending there in Leeds..my sis did bring us to few shopping places which did shot up my adrenaline..haha..seriously..the stuffs at the price with the brand names its carries is so much worth comparing to Malaysian's price....soo sooo much cheap especially when they are on sales items....ok..here's are some of the shopping places that i went when i was in Leeds....
1) Juction Street
Mostly spent at Mark & Spencer outlet here...actually the area got several other outlets but we did spent most of the time at M&S..i bought my bras n panties here..cute and cheap ok..mama bought body wash and body lotion (M&S brand) for just GBP1 only..i bought 2 pairs of pjs for only GBP7 each...its M&S! what can u say kan...go n check the price in store in Malaysia..ah! and i bought an M&S blouse for only GBP2..it sales up to 80% kot..
2) York Designers Outlet, York
It took us about 45 minutes from my sis's house to this place...only, me, along, mama n makcik joined whereas abg long and my dearest nieces had to stay since the car only can fit 4 people...plus, aneesa had to go to school..
This place is heaven shopping place..its heaven! believe me...it was like a super gigantic single storey building which placed all designer's store all in under one roof...most of the brands, u name it..i shop till i forgot to snap pics..but if you want to know the stores been offered here..u can go to http://www.yorkdesigneroutlet.com/
I spent lot and lots of money here...dun mention mama n makcik..its their heaven..i bought my Fossil handbag and purse (leather) here both for only around GBP35..then i bought 3 pairs of Clarks shoes for only GBP30..along bought Radley handbag..mama n makcik bought most of Tefal kitchen appliances in a cheap price (u'll get a pan at GBP4 only)..and also some shoes...
Yes..its all on sale item..coz its really worth it...price where not any near to Malaysia's discounted price..haha..
This is the most recommended place for shopping if you're happened to be near West Yorkshire/Leeds/York...a must go shopping place.
We spent the whole day at this place..from morning till evening...we did shopping till we drop.
2) Junction 32 Outlet Village
This is the 3rd place we go before me and makcik went back home the next day..this is another shopping heaven. Unlike York Designers Outlet, Junction 32 is basically few blocks of stores in one open space area. The outlet is not as outstanding as in York, but the price is affordable...
The most interesting outlet here is La Senza coz they were having super sale..u can get a pair of brassier at GBP 3 and below...i bought several nighties here..its damn cheap..only GBP4 and its La Senza..haha...
I bought another pair of shoes (yes, my luggage on my way back is full of shoes) from Hush Puppies for only GBP25 (not cheap but i liked it)..makcik bought some shoes and blouses and bags for her children here..
Unfortunately it was raining that day..since all of us were there (some of us; me, along and my nieces, have to go there by train) we need to make move from that place earlier...
There! some of the shopping places that we visited in Leeds..not to mention other several store like an Arab Warehouse that sells Kitchen Appliances at a very cheeeaaapp price. Mama bought lotsa stuff here like Correlle Dinnersets and silverware...oh, here is the place in Leeds where we can get Correlle, Corningware and other branded dishes at a lower price compared to price in normal store..Cant remember the exact name, but u can ask around (especically Malaysian)..they will definitely know the place.
Finally on 21st me and makcik with our packed luggage had to depart from Along's house...since Leeds to London (Stansted Airport) took 3 hours drive, we decided to just take train from Leeds train station to Stansted Airport..its such an interesting experience! The train tickets has been pre-booked and collected earlier so that will be easier for us on our depart day...
We basically have several pitstop...from Leed Train Station to Doncaster, we took inter-cities train (like Komuter Train)...from Doncaster to Peterborough, we had the chance to ride on The Famous London King Cross Train (its basically a train that brings passenger from north to south of UK)..the train is bigger but crowded with passengers..and finally from Peterborough to Stansted Airport, another coach train, less crowded and very comfortable..the journey altogether took us almost 3 hours as well..at last we arrived at Stansted Airport around 3pm local time which means we have to wait another 2 hours before been boarded..so me n makcik just hang around the airport, had our small lunch..price of train tickets : around GBP 30 to GBP60 depends on intervals from the day the ticket been bought and departure date.
oh, for info...the security in this airport is quite strict...so, avoid bringing unnecessary items in your hand luggage..just put everything in your checked in luggage ok..or else..u'll spent more time at the security gate.
Phew! it think that is all to share for this trip...gile banyak sampai 10 part...kalau nak ikutkan banyak lagi nak cerita..but if i want to write all, it may take years..hahahah..whatever it is the memories and experience is with me forever...and will not try to forget any part or pieces of the memorable experience...
oh, just so you know..mama stay at along's for another month.. and she did went to several other places that i dun have the chance to visit. Mama sempat pegi tempat blajar my lil bro in Toulouse, South of France, They had the chance to go to Spain, visiting the famous Alhambra Palace...and also, mama had the chance to visit Wales, in northern part of UK..fuh, nampaknye kene repeat jugak Euro Trip nih...banyak lagi tempat x pegi nie..spain, rome, germany, switzerland...ok, look like i have to wait for another 3 years maybe..kumpul duit semula..or ade sape2 nak sponsor saye?? huhuhu...
Ok all...till we meet again in another trip..i have another big trip to go this coming mid October..hopefully it'll go smooth and fine...amiiinnn..
p.s: haa..lupe nak cerita...i had experience driving in UK!...ngeeee...hehehehe
